For the past couple of Wednesdays, we have been doing art in the style of the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. the main elements in all of his art are the floating eyes, hidden faces, onion domes, houses, lollipop trees, movement, layering and repetition. another part of Hundertwasser is the colour palette. the colours used in Hundertwasser art are a mix of complementary and analogous colours. complimentary colours are across from each other on the colour like orange and blue and analogous colours are next to each other in the colour wheel like green and yellow-green.

you cant see my hidden face in this picture but it is in the dots on top of the green house and i showed my layering by the lines in the background with the rest of my art over the top
