Heart Of Tin

Hey Bloggies!

Another one of the wizard of oz tasks for literacy this term was to explain what it means to have heart or to have a heart. We did this task because we looked at how the tin man so badly wants a heart but seems to already have a heart because he cares so much about the people and animals around him. we put our ideas onto a google slide and put a quote with it.

as you can see, to me having heart is about being kind to others and caring about other people not just yourself.

Follow The Yellow Brick Road

Hey Bloggies!

Because of the lockdown, we have to do online schooling which obviously works a little bit different from physical school. for lockdown literacy, we have been doing activities about the novel we are reading, The Wizard Of Oz, one of the activities we did was drawing a picture relating to the book somehow and I drew a picture of the characters walking down the yellow brick road with the words "follow the yellow brick road" above it.

Here it is!

As you can see, I drew the characters walking into the distance on the yellow brick road. I drew this because when I think of oz, I think of the yellow brick road.
